Bogey's Story...

Hi, I'm Bogey. I am an  intelligent, gentle, loving fellow who's come through some hard times. My beloved owner died and I really miss her. For a while, I couldn't even eat, I was so upset! I will be so very grateful to find a new person who can love me that much. I'm handsome, with the somewhat exotic look of of a Cornish or Devon Rex cat. I'm a settled, mature guy who wants so much to have a kind, caring lap to curl up in and be petted. I love attention and just want to be the light of your life. Please come meet me! I am friends with Tommy.

A RappCats adoption is quick and easy. We charge a $95 adoption fee, which is one of the lowest of any private cat rescue group. The fee includes the cost of shots and spaying/neutering. We can usually complete an adoption within two business days after we conduct a phone interview. If two cats are adopted, the adoption fee for the second can be lowered or waived.

RappCats is a non-profit organization that helps stray, abused, abandoned and injured cats in Rappahannock County, Virginia. All our cats are spayed/neutered, current on their vaccinations and socialized to make wonderful pets. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bogey, a Washington Devon Rex cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Devon Rex for sale in Washington, or seeking a Devon Rex cat from a breeder in Washington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Devon Rex breeders who help with Devon Rex rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washington paves the way for another one to be saved.
