Cedric is LOOKING FOR A LOVING HOME!!!!!!!!! Cedric is a nice and gentle boy - great with people and other dogs ( currently living with other dogs) . He is a submissive boy, very affectionate and well behaved. He is about 17kg (38lbs). Cedric is fully vetted: vaccinated, neutered, treated for internal and external parasites and micro-chipped. We did a behavior and cat test - and he passed with flying colours. Cedric is looking for a home with a safe, fully fenced backyard This beautiful boy truly deserved to have a home and family to love him , he doesn't ask for much - regular exercise, mental stimulation and time with he's family; and the most important thing: LOVE!!! Please open your home and your heart to Cedric - he will be forever grateful
I have many (since 2000) years of volunteering at different shelters and with various rescue organizations; coupled with fostering dogs throughout the years as well. I also helping with adopt-a-thons for shelters and then a year ago started doing my own adopt-a-thons for rescues and fosters I have in my home. This experience and love of dogs have brought me to the decision to create my own rescue, and to find homes for dogs through my rescue now. Although it is a new rescue the intention is to remain small and take time with people through discussion to find a good match of family to dog.
Come Meet Our Pets...
We are generally a foster to adopt programme. This means the chosen dog goes into your home for a 2 week trial period before the adoption process is confirmed. This allows the dog and family to see if this is in fact the dog they had envisioned. On occasion we have a dog in foster, and if this is the case arrangements will be made to meet the dog. We also may have adopt-a-thon for more exposure, however the adopt process is still the same.
Our Adoption Process...
Once you have contacted us, we will ask a few question over the phone and then you will be sent a Pre-adoption form. The form is reviewed and then someone may contact you regarding your chosen dog to arrange a home visit. If we feel your home is the suitable place for this particular dog we will contact you to proceed with the adoption. The adoption process consists of foster to adopt,a two week trial period before adoption, to ensure a good match for both you and the dog. It is not always possible to meet the dog before hand, due to lack of fosters available to us, the dog will go directly into your home upon it's arrival. However if we do have a dog in foster then we will make arrangements for the entire family to meet the dog. Adoption fees range from $450 and upward.
