Hey there I'm Willie! I'm a big guy with a huge heart and a love for life and napping. If you are looking for a dog to go one long runs with, I'm not the guy for you however I'm more than happy to romp in the backyard or go on hikes. I enjoy lounging around cuddling. I'm a low maintenance guy who lets my foster mom know when it's time to go outside and I enjoy going on short strolls around my neighborhood. I have done great with all the dogs I have met and I'm as friendly as can be with people. My foster mom gives me free range of the house when she goes to work, and I don't chew up anything or have accidents in the house.I love car rides and would be a wonderful sidekick to take on adventures. If you are looking for a big lovable dog to keep you warm at night, look no further than me!
All of our pets start their journey in Memphis Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted.
In order to qualify for ALIVE’s program all of the following steps must be met: • You must be at least 24 years of age and be able to provide ALIVE with proof of age. • Any current pets must be up to date on vaccinations, and be spayed/neutered. Exceptions to this will only be considered if proof of a medical explanation is provided. • If you currently rent, you must provide a landlord’s phone number and a copy of your executed lease. • All members of the family living in the home where the animal will be placed must be interviewed. • Allow an ALIVE Rescue Memphis representative into your home for a visit to insure that your home is safe for the potential new dog or cat. • Be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment and proper care for a pet. • Currently, the requested donation to adopt a dog over 4 months of age is $250.00, a dog under 4 months of age is $275.00 and a cat is $150.00.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you submit an application immediately to start the adoption process. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, ALIVE Rescue Memphis is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well educated decision from well qualified staff.
