Sophie's Story...
Sophie is a sweet, somewhat easily startled little princess. She's looking for a quiet house where she can nestle in next to, or on, someone's lap nearly all day. Sadly we aren't home enough to do that for her. She does alright with other dogs and alright with children. Her preference is to be in a quiet home with adults, simply because its quieter and feels safe. She had a bad experience with children in her first home and is hesitant around them, but warms up when she feels safe and in the 2 years we've had her she's blossomed into a healthier, fun-loving little girl. She is 7 years old, 9 pounds and house trained. She does need grooming and to have her teeth cared for regularly. She loves to run fast and play chase on the lawn. She doesn't bite, and when her snuggle needs are met she is an angel. Now that the two people she snuggled with either grew up or moved out she needs a new snuggle home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophie, a Redmond Bichon Frise/Coton de Tulear dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise/Coton de Tulear for sale in Redmond, or seeking a Bichon Frise/Coton de Tulear dog from a breeder in Redmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Redmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Redmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise/Coton de Tulear breeders who help with Bichon Frise/Coton de Tulear rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Redmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
