Litter Name: 2016 Beatles
Hi, I am Moses (aka John) I am a 10 month old Golden Retriever Mix. I have been told I am just beautiful but that is just on the outside, what really counts is I am a beautiful dog on the inside too. I am nice to all the other dogs I meet, I just roll over and let them know they can be the boss. I hand out kisses freely and I love to do whatever my family is doing. I am a big dog, about 60 pounds with nice big paws and a super fluffy coat. I love my foster mom, I follow her around and I know she loves me too. I can tell because she is always kissing me and telling me how cute I am.
If someone is considering me to join their family, I would like them to know some things about me. I am not a beggar, I have never even had people food. I haven’t been allowed on furniture, I don’t counter surf, I am house broken, I don’t ever show any signs of aggression, I have a lot of love to give and my absolutely favorite things to do is go on long walks. I am a nice walker and I love toys of all kinds but plastic ones really make me happy. I like nyla bones and toys that my foster mom hides treats in. I bet you wondering what kinds of tricks I know. I can sit, paw and lay down but I am ready to learn some more.
At night when it is time to go to bed, I love to sleep in my crate. Actually I will lay in it anytime I just want a break. At night though I am a very sound sleeper and will stay content in the morning until it is time for you to take me outside. I love my crate! I sleep downstairs where I can keep an eye on the house for everyone.
I am technically still a puppy though which means I am still working on a few things. I am mouthy and I get super excited when I meet new people so I try to jump up to give them a hug. I am being schooled though and am learning it is better to sit and wait when new people are approaching. My perfect owner will want to work with me because I am a very smart dog who only wants to please people.
Retrieving the ball is something I am interested in doing but usually I get bored so I need a family who will play with me, walk me and throw the ball with me. I love kids and dogs, I am not sure about cats but I bet I would love them too.
I promise you, if you pick me, I will love you forever! Thank you for reading my profile!
Hugs and kisses,
Adoption fee: $400.00
We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433
***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians.
If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following:
Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped.
If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs by 6 months of age. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months of age, they will need to be spayed/neutered at one of our preferred clinics. This will be determined by your contract along with the month they should have their surgery. This is included in your adoption fee.
Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home.
If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home.
If a dog is listed as PENDING, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all.
Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out.
