Ruby's Story...
Ruby is 4 years old. She is a purebred Bloodhound who has been used for breeding for her entire life. She makes a much better pet. Ruby is such a sweet and loving girl. She does great with kids and other pets. She is easygoing and aims to please. Ruby does not produce tears so she requires eye drops a few times a day at this time. This is an issue that may go away as her health improves, but it may also be a permanent issue that may require daily eye drops for the rest of her life so please make sure you take that into consideration. Ruby would love to find a family that values her for her personality rather than as a tool. You'll be glad you did!

This pets adoption fee is $80 which includes his/hers spay/neuter, rabies vaccine, basic vaccines, and flea/tick preventative

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ruby, a Lawrenceburg Bloodhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bloodhound for sale in Lawrenceburg, or seeking a Bloodhound dog from a breeder in Lawrenceburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lawrenceburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lawrenceburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bloodhound breeders who help with Bloodhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lawrenceburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
