Kylo is an absolute doll. He is just a year old and 45#. Kylo lives on a horse farm with free range chickens, cats and 9 dogs. He seems to get along with all dogs but can resource guard bones, food and treats. This behavior is easy enough to keep in check by not setting him up for failure. We feed him in his crate and he is only allowed chew bones when in his crate. Kylo has excellent recall and is never on a leash here. He loves car rides, kids and long walks with his people. He especially loves playing with the water coming out of the spray nozzle on the hose. Not sure if he swims but it wouldn't surprise me.

Kylo will bark at you when he wants out. Sometimes it is to go potty, sometimes it is just to get out of the house. So far he appears to be house broken. We advise you crate him at night or allow him to sleep in the bed so he will wake you if he needs to go out in the middle of the night. Kylo would excel in a active home that includes their dog in all they do. He loves to snuggle and he gives very large wet kisses.

Kylo will counter surf for food and chew up inappropriate things. If you can not handle supervising him and keeping counters clear of food he is not the dog for you.

About Australian Cattle Dog Rescue Association

About Our Rescue Group...

We are an all volunteer group that rescues Australian Cattle Dogs. Our dogs reside in foster homes until they are adopted
Every year, thousands of Australian Cattle Dogs find themselves homeless through no fault of their own. Although the reasons are diverse, the result is the same. Healthy, adoptable dogs face euthanasia in shelters.

The Australian Cattle Dog Rescue Association rescues ACDs in shelters from Maine to Georgia and gives these dogs a fresh start with a loving family. Our foster home volunteers welcome the dogs into their homes where they live as members of the family. During the time in foster care, our volunteers determine what kind of forever home will be the right one for each dog.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our rescues reside in foster homes.

Our Adoption Process...

Puppies under 1 year: $350
Adult dogs 1 - 6 years: $300
Adult dogs 7 - 9 years: $250
