Introducing Yoda, a 3-5 year old terrier mix (cairn x yorkie), who weighs about 20 lbs. Yoda is good with older children and will make an excellent family pet. She would prefer to be an only dog or to live with a beta dog, as she likes to be the leader. She will chase cats if they run but will not instigate a chase and has lived with cats before. She is currently on a raw diet, which was recommended by a veterinarian when she initially came in with skin issues (she was rescued from the side of the road, where it seems she had been dumped). She is doing great on her raw diet, which will need to be maintained. Yoda needs to be re-homed because she is not doing well in her long-term foster home, which she shares with 4 australian shepherds. She is jealous of the other dogs and resents it when her foster mom pays attention to them. Yoda is very well-trained (comes when called, sits, stays, etc). She is also fully housebroken, loves hikes in the woods, and being petted on the couch. Yoda is spayed, microchipped, current on all shots, and has tested negative for heartworm. If you would be interested to adopt Yoda, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and request an application or visit www.nyabandonedangels.com, where you can complete an application online. Yoda is currently fostering in VIrginia.
