Facts about Pearl and Sundance

  • Breed: Cockatiel
  • Color: Gray
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
Pearl (grey) and Sundance (yellow) were abandoned in Hartford in early October. Their cage was filthy and they were on a very poor diet. Pearl had a fatty tumor which we removed. She has healed well and help Sundance (who is blind from advanced cataracts - from a poor diet) navigate her way around the cage... when they aren't squabbling like little sisters. We believe they are about 5 years old. Cockatiels live 20+ years and are native to Australia. Their adoption fee is $75 each and this includes their cage, supplies and food. If you are interested in adopting a cockatiel, please follow the process online www.ctparrotrescue.org
