Meet Pine!

This handsome guy was found by border patrol agents in a rural part of San Diego.
Such a sweet boy gentle and sort of a BIG baby. he moans and whines when you talk to him or are going to start petting him. He is excellent with people. A submissive kiddo. He is ok with dogs but not the greatest. He likely was a thethered dog through his young life as he had a rope collar that was also made as a leash so happily he was able to chew his way from that life but he likely missed a lot of socialization. He is more 'scared' of other dogs and prefers to 'scare' the other dogs away protecting himself. If a dog is too on his face he feels incomfortable/unsure about it and will try to nip. He can be off leash with dogs in the home yard and is fine with them doesn't go after them or pick fights only if too close to him does he get nervous (sometimes not all the time). he seems great with children and cats. He does ok in a crate but is not house trained. Does well in the car.

an deal adopter is someone who doesn't have dogs at home but can take him to places with dogs as he is not aggressive towards them, just awkward and can work with a trainer to socialize him properly he would be a great family dog perhaps a big family who wants to enjoy a doggy friend he loves to be around people.

About Animal Rescuers Without Borders, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

The A.R.W.O.B. group is based in San Diego, CA and operates mostly in Mexico as well as Southern California and will come to the aid of any animal in need which crosses our path. Our belief is to do what we can in order to “Make a difference in their lives.” From experience we have observed and feel the companion animals of Mexico are in the greatest need and accordingly we focus much of our efforts in Baja, Mexico. However, we certainly extend our help to our north of the border critters by accepting relinquished family pets, exiting both dogs and cats from the shelters of San Diego and of course by working in conjunction with other animal rescue groups in the community
