Gibson Marlboro's Story...
Gibson Marlboro
~ 7 yrs old ~ 22 lbs ~ fostered in Bel Air, MD ~

This cutie is doing well in his foster home. I would say Gibson is house trained, no accidents in this week and he goes over to the door when he needs to go out. He gets along with other dogs, no issues in the crate, walks really well on a leash, and no food aggression. He is pretty chill being 7 years old and past the puppy stage, but is playful too. He has shown an interest in bolting out the door if it's open, so you'll have to be vigilant.

If you can make a spot in your heart and home for Gibson, please e-mail icanhelp@beaglemaryland.org!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gibson Marlboro, a Waldorf Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
