Phoenix is an FIV+ female, cute as a button, seeking that special person to give her a good life.  Phoenix came to us as a stray.  She is a friendly little 10 month old (as of Jan 1).  We all know Phoenix is around because she talks a lot.  She also reaches out of her cage toward anyone walking by.  She spent some time in a foster home in an attempt to integrate her with another cat.  Phoenix was quite rambunctious and ended up getting into it with the resident cat. Even though the latest thought is that FIV+ cats can live with other cats, Phoenix should probably be an only cat.  On the positive side, while in foster that short time she settled in with her humans on the couch to watch TV and she followed her foster to every room. We are hoping that someone will open their heart to this girl.

The adoption fee for Phoenix is sponsored so an adopter would pay no fee.  She has been spayed.  Shots are current.  She had no medical problems currently on vet exam.  Adoption, as with all our cats, would be to indoors only.

Our Adoption Process...

If you are interested in adopting a pet from us we first require an adoption application filled out. Once the application is submitted one of our adoption counselors will contact you to set up a formal meet and greet. If the decision is made that it is a good fit between you and the pet we will then set up a home visit. Often times the meet and greet and home visit can be done at the same time for your convenience.
Our adoption fee for dogs is $150.00. This covers our costs for vet services. When adopting a pet from us the pet will be spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, micro chipped and tested for internal parasites and other disease such as heart-worms and FeLuke and FIV. We accept the adoption fee and a formal adoption contract when the pet is turned over to you. Should the pet not work out in your home or should a life changing event happen and you are no longer able to keep the pet we ask that the pet be returned to us or that we are notified of new ownership. We will always take our pets back, however, the fee is non refundable.
