I'm a naturally playful, curious and trusting canine. Take me for long walks every day. I need to have some kind of job or challenge each day because I like to be kept busy. After my job is done, I'll curl up in front of the fire with you in the evenings while you watch the ball game or read your favorite book. I'm also very smart and like to please. I've already learned some commands, and I would love to continue learning more. Training classes like the ones here at the shelter should be a good fit for me. I would be able to learn some new skills while under the guidance of the shelter's wonderful trainer. Come down to the shelter and meet me. If you love me like the staff does, but can't adopt me, please ask about sponsoring.
The mission of Willamette Humane Society is to promote the welfare of animals through leadership, education, and action. Founded in 1965, we are an independent non-profit organization that shelters more than 10,000 animals every year and strives to complete families by matching pets with people.

Our Adoption Process...
Adopters are required to fill out an application and meet with an adoption counselor to ensure they've selected the right pet for their family.
