My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Octavia (HWTH#16425A). She is an American Bulldog mix, DOB: 3/29/16. Octavia weighs approximately 30 pounds and stands 18 inches at the shoulders. She and her sibling (Olivia) wandered into the yard of some Good Samaritans on Wednesday, 11/23/16. They unfortunately do not have a fenced yard and are unable to keep the pair and have now relinquished them to Halfway to Home so both can find their new Forever homes. They are both extremely loving, intelligent, gentle girls that are very well behaved, quiet and have calm temperaments. They both love to get and give affection. Both Octavia and Olivia like to play ball and fetch. In the short time the ladies had both dogs, they were able to start beginning leash training with great success. Both of these precious pups will need lots of love, good-quality human companionship, playtime and daily exercise to keep them fit and occupied. They should probably also have a variety of chew toys so they have an outlet for puppy chewing. When Octavia is thoroughly settled in her new permanent home, she will benefit from positive basic obedience training mostly to help with the bonding process. Once Octavia has bonded with her new owner she will be a wonderful canine companion. Both girls are good with other dogs and are beginning crate training. For more information on the availability of either Octavia or Olivia for adoption, please contact Suzanne at tele # 661-824-4495.

The girls went for their first walk today (12/6/16). They enjoyed it very much and did very well for being puppies.
