Sampson's Story...
Male
Pit Bull Mix
Approx 1year old
Good with dogs
Nonreactive to cats
Sampson is our very special boy. He was recently picked up on the streets of Hartford extremely ill. Animal Control asked if our group would be willing to help him. Sampson was diagnosed with parvovirus which is an extremely serious condition with a 50/50 survival rate. After over a week in the hospital and quite the battle – our sweet guy fought for his life and won. He is now finally eating and getting brighter and stronger every day. Sampson is a mush, a sweet lovable doll-face that has been through so much. please email kenwayscause@aol.com if you are interested in adopting him.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sampson, a Hartford Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Hartford, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Hartford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hartford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hartford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hartford paves the way for another one to be saved.
