Mai Tai and Savoy are one year old sisters (born around 10/22/15) that were left at the city shelter after their owner developed serious allergies. They are both gentle and affectionate. The girls are shy at first but are incredibly affectionate to those that win their trust. We would suggest that the best home for them would be with someone that is patient and loving. And they are bonded so ideally we would like to see them adopted together. Mai Tai: Is a playful young girl that loves to follow you around. She talks very softly in an endearing way to show her affection to you. She loves petting all over, including her belly (!) and is very easy to handle once she comes out of her shell. Mai Tai tolerates baths and nail trims and enjoys having her coat brushed and does not mind being picked up. She likes to play with balls and stuffed animals. Savoy: Is shyer than Mai Tai, but once she develops trust with her new owner she is very gentle and affectionate. Savoy enjoys having her coat brushed and being picked up. Savoy was described as being playful, friendly, affectionate, mellow and talkative with a low activity level by her previous owners. These two sisters are incredibly affectionate and looking for a permanent loving home where they can be themselves.
