Octavio's Story...
M16-192 - I’m Octavio. You can see from my picture that I truly enjoy the sunshine. This picture was taken in the lovely chicken coop house that was our first home with Mom. Later, we moved with her to foster care in the Big House – with windows, and doors, and everything! I was the last born of Tavia’s last litter of eight, and was always her special kid. She was a wonderful mom, now enjoying a kitten-free life in a great forever home. I’m a Parlor Panther, for sure, except for that pretty little white necktie which I really like. I’m ready for my next adventure: meeting people and choosing my very own INSIDE ONLY Forever Home. I’ll be doing that soon at Twin Falls PetSmart and I hope you’ll stop by and see me. I’m neutered, healthy, current on my shots, and negative for FIV/FELV. I’d like a quiet home with people who have time to make me welcome and show me the ropes. I don’t know anything about little kids or dogs, so if you’ve got some of those in your home, please supervise so we get off to a great start!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Octavio, a Buhl Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Buhl, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Buhl.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buhl already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buhl breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buhl paves the way for another one to be saved.
