My story

Hello. My name is Calvin and I am a maltipoo :-) I am approximately 5-7 years old and I weigh 6.6 pounds. I was picked up as a stray and brought to the animal shelter. I looked like a different dog then. My fur was severely matted for a very long time. Matted fur covered my entire body and rear feet which resulted in prolonged stretching of my ligaments as seen in my photos, as a result, I started walking on my hocks. Both Achilles tendons are torn. Since my haircut, I have began to raise my rear feet off of the ground and sometimes walk only on my front feet. I have tricks and I am talented that way. I am a very sweet boy, I love people and children and I get along well with others. All I need now is a real for ever home where I can offer my unconditional love and gratitude. I'm living in McComb, Mississippi, but the good folks at Animal Rescue Front will bring me up north to you and the trip is included in the adoption fee.
