Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ava is a lovable, friendly and affectionate kitten with long whiskers. She is a non-demanding and intelligent little girl. She loves to chase crinkle balls and when she takes possession of a ball she growls very loud like a big dog. It is so funny to hear her growling so loudly, it makes everyone stop what they are doing and listen to the loud noise coming from the corner where a tiny little kitten clutches a small ball. ;-)
Ava is very sociable and loves to curl up on your lap or next to you when you are watching TV. She loves to climb up on you and go to sleep where she feels warm and safe. Ava loves to be stroked and patted and will reward you for your attention by purring loudly. Her sweet, gentle and even temperament will make her a great pet for anyone, even young children.
Behaviorally and socially, it’s best to adopt kittens in pairs, or into a home with a playful cat. Kittens really need a playmate in their forever home…and then they can get to play, and snuggle while you're not home. Check out our Pick A Pair page to see if her sibling is still available.
If you are only interested in adopting a single kitten, and you’re home most of the day, and able to spend interactive time with a kitten, we will consider adopting out a kitten older than 4 months. Each foster home knows the kitten’s personalities best, and we follow their recommendations for single placements.
Ava’s estimated date of birth is 8/30/16. Her adoption fee of $135 includes her vet exam, FVRCP vaccinations, FIV & Feline Leukemia testing (neg), routine deworming, flea control, microchip and spay.
