Coco's Story...
COCO is available for adoption in New England.
This special girl has a bright demeanor and delightful personality. Coco is an absolute sweetheart and will make you smile every day! She is about two years old and weighs about 70 pounds. Because of her size, Coco would do well in a home with older respectful children. She is an active girl who would love to partake in the activities of an active family. Coco also settles down nicely when alone in the house or in the yard watching squirrels/birds. She needs a calm, yet firm owner who will exercise and train her. She is house trained, knows sit and down, and takes treats nicely. Coco is food motivated and loves to learn and please her human. She needs training in meeting and greeting other dogs when walking on a leash and would do best being the only dog in the household. Coco is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, is micro chipped and is on frontline and heartgard. If you would like to adopt this super sweet girl, please complete an online application and request her on the notes section.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Coco, a Brattleboro Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
