Rowdy's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

Rowdy's Story...
Rowdy is a five year old Cocker Spaniel looking for a new home. His family had to give him up due to moving. Rowdy is a very nice dog and is very well behaved. He has settled right in at his foster home and is having a great time getting to know his two foster siblings who are also Cockers. He does not seem to like kids so a home without children is what he will need

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rowdy, a Columbus Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
