Pooka's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Pooka's Story...
Pooka is 12 years old. Pooka and her friend, Phoebe, were surrendered together to rescue when their owner was no longer to care for them.

Pooka is a very chill, affectionate cat. She loves to sit up high on her cat tree or boxes. She loves affection and belly rubs and LOVES to be brushed. Pooka is a beautiful sweet cat and an all around good girl. They have not lived with dogs and will hiss at them when they see them.

Do you have room for sweet Pooka and hopefully Phoebe? They have been bounced around alot and would love their forever home. They can be adopted together or separate. Pooka qualifies for a senior for senior discount.

All adoptable pets have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. For more information about adoption, please contact Camp Companion at 507-951-7801, www.campcompanion.org, or find us on Facebook!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pooka, a Rochester Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
