Narnia's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Narnia's Story...
Meet Narnia! She is an 8 month old beauty who weighs about 40 pounds. She adores other dogs, is very sweet and submissive, and has the cutest ears! She hasn't lived with small children, but her sweet nature would make her very appropriate for a family with older children. Narnia hasn't had obedience training, so sit and stay will need some practice, but she has house training and kennel training down! She likes to be in your lap and jump up, but is very good with redirections on the jumping that isn't wanted. She has been cat tested previously and done well, but has not lived with cats.

Narnia would do great in a family with another dog (or two or three or four!) or as a single dog in an active family. She loves to be outside and with confidence work (she's just a little shy still!) she could be a good exercise buddy.

Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a home visit and a meet and greet.
Please note that preference will be given to Wisconsin adoptions, but out of state adoptions will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Narnia, a Fort Atkinson Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Fort Atkinson, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Fort Atkinson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Atkinson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Atkinson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Atkinson paves the way for another one to be saved.
