Patti Jean's Story...
PATTIE was neglected for too long and she shows signs of a very hard life. She had nasty teeth and some had to be removed, clearly used as a brood her body is less than Barbie perfect, but her gentle quiet spirit makes her the very BEST! She is gentle with children and goes up to everyone with a happy tail and a sweet greating. Her favorite thing is to enjoy the sunshine on the deck and wander through the yard sniffing for new scents . She fits right in with any of the dogs...is non-aggressive but will warn them if they try to take her food. Her tongue was severed years ago, possibly from a mouse trap or spider bite. It takes her a little while to gobble her food up, but she eats and drinks like a trooper. Her coat is a beautiful color and once she is on good nutrition the condition will continue to improve. She loves her bath and to be brushed. She loves to go for walks on leash and loves to be around her people. Pattie has had all her vaccinations, tested for hw (neg) spayed and also had a complete dental. She is well now and feeling better than she has in a long time...all it took was someone to care. We are glad Pattie came to us in rescue and we were able to make her life better. She would fit in to a family that is laid back like she is..Complete the adoption application and come see Pattie in person---she's adorable!
