Danica's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, and up to date with shots.

Danica's Story...
Danica is a sweet little senior girl (12 yrs) looking for love. She spent a couple of weeks at animal control but no one came looking for her. She's a quiet girl who just likes to be near people, to love and be loved on.

All of our dogs are fostered in our homes so we know their temperaments. They are spayed or neutered, up to date on shots, de-wormed, heartworm tested (and treated if necessary), and on flea and heartworm prevention. Our adoption fee begins at $165.00 for all of our dogs and puppies. Our goal is to match our animals to the best home possible. Please email info@cofas.org for more information. You can also fill out an application at www.cofas.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Danica, a Greensboro Havanese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Havanese for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a Havanese dog from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Havanese breeders who help with Havanese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
