My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approx. birthdate: October 2015. Meet Nico! Nico was rescued in Puerto Rico, in the middle of nowhere with no food or water. He was also found with a fractured front leg. Since Nico was abandoned, his leg was left to heal on its own, and once he was rescued and brought to the vet, the vet recommended leaving it instead of re-breaking it and resetting it with pins and screws. Nico's imperfectly healed leg has had no effect on him. He can play and run just like any other dog. Nico is just a little shy at first in a new environment, but warms up quickly. He does well with other dogs, but he will also be fine as an only dog with an active family.
