Juan is a striking shepherd mix with grey, brown and white coloring. He is around 1 year old and has lots of energy, like a 60 pound puppy. Juan did not have any manners when he first came into foster care and he has come a long way. His very favorite thing of all is giving people hugs! He has gotten much better about jumping up on people to greet them but when given the okay, he will give you that hug you've been needing. He knows basic commands and is eager to learn more.

Juan currently lives with a few other dogs and does well in his pack. He will probably do fine as an only dog too with opportunities for socialization and play. Juan does well at the dog park and he is making great strides with recall. Right now he enjoys fully fenced dog parks as he likes to run up to all the people at the park to greet them. He has made improvements with leash walking and will need more practice with manners to become the great dog he so desperately wants to be. Juan is desperate to be loved and to love his person and he will be a great dog for a very lucky person.

Juan has allergies and is on a monthly medication that runs about $60/month. The medication helps manage his itch where he'll get a skin infection if not on medication. This will need to be continued throughout his life. But trust me, he's worth it! This sweet boy is so full of love.

Juan's adoption fee is $250, which includes vet exam, age-appropriate vaccinations and tests, microchip, and spay/neuter. Please note that we only accept cash or checks - no credit cards.

About All Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

All Dog Rescue is an all-volunteer, foster home based rescue organization. We do not have a shelter and do not have any paid staff. Our dogs live in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their new forever homes. We offer a lifetime commitment to the dogs in our program. All of our dogs receive comprehensive vet work prior to adoption, including exam, vaccinations, microchip, HW/Lyme's test, fecal exam, and all are spayed and/or neutered. We do it because we love dogs, and with 4 million animals being euthanized every year in shelters around the country, the numbers of dogs needing our help is endless.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We hold public adoptions twice per month, and are often able to meet prospective families outside the events if need be.

Our Adoption Process...

The applicant must fill out a detailed adoption application (it is on our website), then is screened by an experienced volunteer. We charge adoption fees that are comparable to those of similar organizations in our area. The adoptive home must agree to and initial a list of regulations as well as complete a formal contract.
