My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shiloh is a 2.5 year old Great Pyrenees male who may have some Akbash (Turkish guardian) in his background. He was bred in North Dakota and came to NorthStar due to lifestyle changes. His foster mom states that he is happy, polite, and eager to please! He learns quickly and will anticipate what you want him to do. He loves to wrestle with their Weimaraner girl. He loves car rides and going to the dog park to play. Shiloh can be shy around new dogs until he is used to them and gains confidence being with them. He is a handsome boy with the typical black “eyeliner” around both eyes. Shiloh will whine to get your attention , but has a deep bark when he is in guardian mode. Shiloh is known to smirk and smile, which his foster mom finds quite endearing.

Shiloh is neutered, housetrained, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on all shots. He is good with children and when left alone in the yard (he will dig a hole, which is typical Pyr behavior). He is cautious , but not aggressive, with cats and strangers. Loud noises, like storms, do not bother him.

An adoption application, site visit, secure visible fencing, and an adoption fee are required to adopt Shiloh.
