Maiya's Story...
Maiya is a georgeous female AKC Saint Bernard with wonderful markings and a full mask. Maiya and her sisters were surrendered due to the economy. Maiya is extremely good looking and is great with kids and other animals. If you have a place in your heart and home for maiya, please email us for an application at savingsaintsrescue@yahoo.com.

UPDATE: Maiya is a fantastic Saint! She is a very good girl and listens to basic commands. She is learning that there is more to life than the barn her and her sisters were kept. She really likes to snuggle and be pet and loved. She loves playing with the kids and other big dogs but does not care for small dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maiya, a Flint St. Bernard dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard for sale in Flint, or seeking a St. Bernard dog from a breeder in Flint.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Flint already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Flint breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard breeders who help with St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Flint paves the way for another one to be saved.
