Drover's Info...

I am already neutered and not good with dogs.

Drover's Story...
Drover is a handsome red heeler mix male who came to us from Bixby, OK. He loves to run and play, and seems to an all around good guy. Drover is already neutered, so all he would need is to have his shots updated before he's adopted. The City of Sand Springs will pay for all Drover's shots at no cost for his adopter. There is no adoption fee at this time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Drover, a Sand Springs Australian Cattle Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Sand Springs, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Sand Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sand Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sand Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sand Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
