Skye's Story...
First off we are sorry about the pictures as we will get better ones of him this weekend. We wanted to have something up when we posted his profile. Skye ended up at a shelter with another dog as a stray. No one came to claim them. We believe Skye could be a Chinese Crested/Yorkie mix. He is about a year old and 10lbs. He is a bit shy to start with but warms up quick. Skye is fully vetted meaning fixed, current on all shots, heartworm negative, micro chipped and on monthly prevention.

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chinese Crested/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Washington, or seeking a Chinese Crested/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Washington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
