Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lucy is a female Maltese/Poodle mix only, 9 months old. She weighs9 ½ lbs fully grown Her all white coat is cut short and is easy to maintain. Lucy is a young girl, still very much a puppy at heart. Luckily Lucy was surrendered to a dog trainer as the elderly person who had purchased her did not realize how much work was involved in a training a puppy. Lucy knows basic commands (stay, sit, wait, and heel) and is house trained as well as crate trained. She has nice indoor manners and likes to be near her foster family. She is comfortable playing with big and small dogs alike. She is agile and quick and would probably be a star at the dog park or doggie beach. Lucy tends to bond with one adult and becomes a devoted pet. She is frightened by children and chaotic activities so she would do best in adult only home. So if you are seeking a small dog that has already received professional training, Lucy would be a great choice as she is ready to meet her new, forever, adoptive person.
You can meet Lucy SATURDAY, DEC. 3rd at the SANTA PAWS SUPER ADOPTION EVENT at Grossmont Shopping Center from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
