My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

KC is one outstanding cat. His foster parents say he's the best kitten ever. KC is now a teenager with the energy of a kitten. He is very affectionate, love people and other kitties. He's very self confident so would probably do well with a cat friendly dog.

KC started out by being rescued from under a house by a policeman as a tiny kitten, he was the only survival of his siblings. Full of life from the very beginning. When KC was still a kitten he got very sick and we rushed him to a 24 hour facility where we learned that KC had a hole in his chest that had allowed his stomach to move into the chest cavity. it also caused an enlarged Esophagus that made it impossible for him to eat without standing on his hind legs and eat only very wet food.

It was life threatening and KC had only a 50% chance of full recovery. We decided to take a chance on KC since he was so loving. KC was hospitalized for a few weeks to first get stronger, then have surgery to fix the hole in the stomach and finally to recover from the surgery. He came home and had to be caged and fed standing on his hind legs for about 2 months. Over that time he had several re-checks at the vets with x-rays, scans...through it all he continued to be the loving KC and cooperated like a champion.

KC made a full recovery and the vet said now he can be treated and fed like any other kitty. We are so happy for him. So now it's time for him to find his forever home.
He loves to play so needs a play buddy in addition to loving human family.

He is neutered, microchipped for ID, negative for FeLV/FIV, current on shots, dewormed and flea free. He has no bad habits, likes his cat tree & the scratching post and uses litter box.
