Hello, my name is Sissy. What’s yours? Nice to meet ya!
Hey! Before you get attached to me, read all the way to the bottom. You will see that I am still in Houston, TX but I want to get OUT of Houston and OUT of Texas so I can have a really good life. I want to see Texas in my rear view mirror. A nice person came along and took me in and, now, I am ready to hit the road to your house! Uh, make that “our” house, OK? As soon as you adopt me, I’ll be on my way to you!
I am a black and white Lab/Beagle mix. (Yes, that’s what we think.) I am 17 months old and I weigh 45 lbs. I have had all of my shots and have been spayed.
Wanna hear more about me? OK, here goes! I am a very sweet, well-behaved girl. I know a hand command for “sit” without having to be told. I really am very smart! I am kennel-trained and love snuggling up in fleece blankets. My favorite game is chase the ball and I will bring it back to you. I also love playing with rubber squeaky toys.
I am not afraid of a bath and like my hair being brushed. I have a white marking on my chest that looks like the batman symbol.
I am protective of my family so visitors will need to be introduced to me first. I make unique sounds when I talk back to you, and when I am nervous, I make a high-pitched cricket noise. HA! It’s funny sounding!
I live in a house with my brother but I am the boss so I might be better in a house where I am the only dog. I also live with lots of cats. I want to play with them and their toys but they don't want to play back. I like to stop, drop and roll - - my favorite thing to do is get a belly rub and get scratched under the chin.
My foster mom loves me SO much that she only wants me to fly to my new home even if a pet transport truck was available. See my adoption information below.

My adoption fee is $650 USD and includes my vetting, spaying, microchip, health certificate, travel crate AND transportation on United Airlines from Houston, TX to areas in the Northeast U.
