Introducing Katie, Madi and Gina, new arrivals at Southern California Keeshond Rescue, Inc. (SCKR)

Katie, Madi and Gina are bonded eight year old Keeshond sisters who are seeking placement together. They were born and raised in a loving home, where they lived happily together until they faced a lifestyle change when their owner passed away in September 2016. They were surrendered to Santa Maria Valley Humane Society (SMVHS), a no kill adoption center in September. Southern California Keeshond Rescue, Inc. (SCKR) welcomed the bonded trio into our rescue program on November 22, 2016.

Katie, Madi and Gina are wonderful dogs. All they need now is you!

Please note: We follow up on our adoptions, provide our adopters with lifetime support, and take our dogs back at any time if the people are unable to care for them. This is our commitment to our dogs and our adopters. To make this level of support possible, we must place our dogs within driving distance for our volunteers in Southern California.

About SoCA Keeshond Rescue, Inc

About Our Rescue Group...

SoCA Keeshond Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non profit rescue and placement organization dedicated to Keeshond dogs that are abandoned, mistreated, left in animal shelters throughout Southern California, as well as those in acute need of placement due to family circumstances.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We introduce our Keeshond dogs to prospective families, by appointment, upon approval of the adoption application.

Our Adoption Process...

We adopt our dogs only in Southern California. The first step in the adoption process is the completion of an adoption application, which includes veterinarian reference and three personal references. The next step is a home visit with all members of the household. Upon approval, an adoption agreement and adoption fee is required. Adoption fees range from $300 to $475.
