Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please meet Matilda, she may have been someone else’s trash, but she is OUR treasure.
Matilda will be available for retirement in a loving home soon. Matilda is undergoing medical care at this time. Please visit https://www.youcaring.com/evenchancepitbullrescue-697245 to learn more about Matilda’s story and consider contributing to her ongoing medical care.
Matilda was found in a rural area in this condition by a good Samaritan. Her photos caught the attention and captured the heart of one of our beloved foster moms, and she was rescued and transported to Even Chance immediately.
Matilda is emaciated at best, she has very little hair or teeth, a severe heartworm infestation, démodex mange, hookworms, roundworms, and horrific fleas. She is around 13 years old. Her body itches and hurts, she was in pure misery.
Matilda is now safe in an Even Chance foster home. We have a special place in our heart for senior pit bulls, and we cannot wait to get Matilda comfortable so that she may retire in a home comfortably with the love and dignity that she deserves. We are treating her most immediate needs first to get her comfortable and stable. After that we will work with our vet to safely treat her for her other illnesses. Please consider donating to Matilda’s care. Even Chance is a is a 501c3 nonprofit and all donations are tax deductible.
If you are interested in offering Matilda a retirement home (Even Chance will be paying for her ongoing medical care at our vet), please fill out and adoption application at www.evenchance.org/adopt and we will be in touch!
