Princess's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Princess's Story...
Princess is a very friendly, sweet and gentle, 43-pound, seven-year-old, female Shar Pei looking for a loving guardian.

Princess lost her home when the family that she was living with was evicted from their house. She lived with five children and another dog. She is great with people of all ages including children, and is good with other dogs upon proper introduction; she prefers puppies and male dogs.

Princess has such a great temperament. She is not at all shy and jumps up and gives everyone she meets a kiss! She is also playful, housebroken, knows the command sit and takes treats gently from your fingers.

Princess is healthy, spayed, de-wormed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested and on monthly heartworm preventative. She is currently at the Pei Land Rescue in Plano, Illinois. Her adoption fee of $300 benefits rescues pets.

To meet and possibly adopt Princess, please contact Jen at peachesash@aol.com or 630-553-7829.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Princess, a Chicago Shar Pei dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shar Pei for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Shar Pei dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shar Pei breeders who help with Shar Pei rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
