Sylvester's Story...
I chase my tail!

Hello my name is Sylvester. I was born on July 28th so I’m only 5 months old. The

first 5 months of my life have already been an adventure. I was born to a feral

mother and father so my first few weeks were outside. I was a little nervous when I

came into my foster home but I quickly made myself at home. I love sleeping on the

bed with my mother and siblings. I love to play with all my toys, I particularly like

throwing toys into the air and watching them come back down. After my mom takes

a shower I go inside the stall and chase my tail. I watch my mom get ready for work

so I’m not afraid of bathroom noises. I’m a greeter so I greet my mom at the door

when she comes home. I have a very loud purr so everyone in the house can hear

me. After all I am the center of attention. I’m very loving. I’m looking for my

forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sylvester, a Vacaville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Vacaville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Vacaville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vacaville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vacaville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vacaville paves the way for another one to be saved.
