Big Red's Story...
Orange Boy

Hello from Big Red

Big Red and his two siblings, Sweet Pea and Blondie, came to us a few months ago from an elderly woman that was in distress due to poor health and inability to get around.  She delayed getting her female spayed and well had more cats than she could deal with.

Red is definitely a stronger color orange than his brother Blondie.  He does have the white bib and chest.  All three siblings are loving cats that will do well in about any home.  They have lived with other cats but have not been exposed to dogs.  All three should do well in a home with children also!

Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Big Red, a Vacaville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Vacaville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Vacaville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vacaville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vacaville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vacaville paves the way for another one to be saved.
