Vass's Story...
Welcome Vass. He is a 2 year old Plott Hound/Coonhound mix. He is a large dog at 80 pounds. He is active and fun with a good amount of energy. He was probably gotten as a cute puppy and then no one worked with him so he still jumps up but he is an absolutely sweet boy. He will do well with a person who is familiar with a very large breed dog. He would love a family that would be outdoorsy and fun and once he has his energy he will be ready to snuggle. Children 10 and up would be best with this big boy. He would be great for a runner, hiker or outdoor enthusiast. He is up on his shots, neutered, microchipped and ready for his forever home. He is currently in a rural Southern facility that is not no kill. We will be using a professional transporter to deliver him to his forever home on the east or west coast. (transport fee is $165 west coast or $185 east coast) Adoption fee is $170. Contact me for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Vass, a Lacey Plott Hound/Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Plott Hound/Coonhound for sale in Lacey, or seeking a Plott Hound/Coonhound dog from a breeder in Lacey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lacey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lacey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Plott Hound/Coonhound breeders who help with Plott Hound/Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lacey paves the way for another one to be saved.
