Howie's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Howie's Story...
Howie is an genetics Chi-Weenie (a fusion of Chihuahua and Dachshund) and is ideal for a family. he is a busy, nosy little Guy that wants to be involved with everything! He would be fine with a family who enjoy hiking and walks and with gentle children over the age of 10 years.

Howie is about a year to 8 months old and weighs around 7-lbs. He is NOT suitable for a town-home or condo (unless you are work from home) as like the breeds he is blended with he likes to bark.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Howie, a Escondido Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Escondido, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Escondido.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Escondido already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Escondido breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Escondido paves the way for another one to be saved.
