Hazel's Story...
Welcome Hazel. She is a 1.5 year old Plott Hound/Lab mix Hazel. She has a beautiful coat with the Brindle coloration. She is eager to please, attentive, good on a leash, outgoing and sweet. She is moderately active and good with other dogs. She weighs about 45 pounds and this is a good weight. She is good with all people she has been around and other dogs. She is currently in a rural facility and was found as a stray. We have little foot traffic so she will be looking for her forever home on the East or the West Coast. Her adoption fee is 170 and transport is 185. Contact me for an application. See her cute video

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hazel, a Pluckemin Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever for sale in Pluckemin, or seeking a Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Pluckemin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pluckemin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pluckemin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pluckemin paves the way for another one to be saved.
