Elton's Story...
Hi my name is Elton, and I am about 5 years old and 30 lbs. I was adopted from a rural shelter a few years ago and recently was returned due to no fault of my own - my family had a "change in lifestyle" and determined that they could no longer keep me. I am such a good natured boy and get along well with other dogs. I would make a great family pet. Won't you consider me?

If you are interested in adopting me, please apply online at www.orphanannierescue.org.

My adoption fee is $250, which includes my neuter, shots, heartworm testing, and microchipping.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elton, a Atlanta Pug/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Beagle for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a Pug/Beagle dog from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Beagle breeders who help with Pug/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
