My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Thor and if you are looking for a hunk of burning love, I'm your guy. My breed is a bit of a mystery. I'm part Pit Bull but the other half is questionable. My rescue people think, I’m either a Mastiff breed or some sort of American Bulldog. Bottom line is, when full grown I'm going to be a 75 lbs. plus dog. I really meant to say 75 lbs. of pure and undeniable love, of course! As of December 1st I'm approximately 5 months old and weigh 40 lbs.

I was found wondering in a bad neighborhood and this kind rescue lady scooped me right up. Lucky me! They just knew I belonged to someone but no one ever came looking for me. They fell in love with me and wanted to keep me but their lifestyle was too busy and they knew it would be best if I went to a home that could give me the time and attention I deserve.
I'm currently living with a foster family. My foster mom is working on teaching me some basic obedience skills. I'm learning to walk nicely on a leash. I'm also learning what sit, stay, leave it and place mean. I don’t mean to brag but I’m already house trained, crate trained, vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. My foster mom says I'm a pretty smart guy and would benefit from continued obedience training once adopted.

As far as other dogs go I love one of my foster sisters. She is teaching me the ropes but sometimes she gets frustrated with me because I'm a little dominant. My foster mom says my ideal home would be where I could be an only dog or have a submissive sister. Truth is, I love being next to my human and really don't need a dog sibling. My favorite thing to do is be next to my foster mom. It doesn't matter if she's working from home, taking a shower, putting on makeup, or sleeping. I just want to be close to her. I love laying in her office and watching her work or laying on the bathroom rug while she's getting ready.
I also LOVE to give kisses. That's the Pit in me coming out. We are known to be lovers.
