Hunter's Story...
Hi my name is Hunter! I am a 4 - 5 month old puppy who was found as a stray and brought to a rural animal control facility. I waited for my family to come and claim me, but they never did. I am a friendly boy and would make a great family pet. I am about 35 lbs and will continue to grow, since I'm still a puppy, but the volunteers do not know exactly how big I will be. I get along well with other dogs.

If you are interested in adopting me, please apply online at www.orphanannierescue.org.

My adoption fee is $275, which includes my neuter, shots, heartworm testing, and microchipping.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hunter, a Atlanta Golden Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
