Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Say hello to the adorable 3 year old fella with the funny name of Yap!. He has a micro-chip and when the original owner was contacted she said she gave him that name because he likes to talk. She also said she gave him to new owner and that owner is the one who brought him to the shelter on 11/26. Yap is very motivated by treats and will sit when one is offered. Once he gets a good bath and grooming he will be just as beautiful as he is meant to be. Yap is current on vaccines, micro-chipped and neutered. He will be tested for heart worms when adopted. At only 19 pounds he is the perfect lap sized dog. He is waiting to meet you in cage 314 in the small dog room and his ID# is 590584.
When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.
