Christie is a female long haired Turkish Angora/Norwegian Forest mix cat approximately 2 years old. She is a pure white, super soft, fluffy girl who is a nice bigger size. She has classy, feminine features and is a truly beautiful cat. Christie loves the company of people and other cats. She is social and interactive with her humans and likes to share the living space with you. Christie is smart and observant, loves water, and enjoys playtime. When she gets to playing, she doesn't mess around and can be adorably vigorous and athletic in her play. She will twist and turn high in the air to grab something and will race around after a toy if you drag it in front of her. When its not playtime, Christie is a wonderful napper. She sleeps soundly and peacefully - because Christie, we've discovered, is completely deaf. She was most likely born this way since she is only 2 years old and appears to be in great health. Christie has adapted to her lack of hearing with ease and if you don't watch her closely its hard to tell she can't hear. Christie watches everything around her and learns quickly. She is litter box trained and keeps herself well groomed. Christie really seems to enjoy a more peaceful, quiet, easy going environment and won't be a fan of lots of commotion or handling by children. She is a queen bee and likes to know that everything is orderly and predictable. Christie adores being petted and will knead her fuzzy paws in the air or purr loudly when she's really happy and getting some love. Christie enjoys the company of other cats, both adult and kitten. She is a good girl and is going to make an outstanding, one of a kind pet and companion. Christie was rescued from a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where she was brought in stray and very neglected. She has come a long way and is deserving of a loving, safe place and people to call her own. Christie is ready for her new forever home today!
Christie’s adoption donation is $150 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). She has been spayed, Fiv/Felv tested, microchipped, and is up-to-date on all of her vaccinations. All cats and kittens are treated with Revolution flea/tick medication and de-wormed. Also included is her folder containing all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
