JT is a male Poodle/Schnauzer mix approximately 5 years in age. He is a solid, medium sized boy weighing 24 pounds full grown. JT has been professionally groomed and is non-shedding. He has a unique and very interesting coat color of charcoal gray, silver, a touch of brown, and some patches of white. He has a large spash of white on one hind leg and a white tip on his tail. He is one of a kind for sure! JT is young at heart and will be quite playful and puppyish when he is happy. He will bow down and try to entice you to play with him, or prance around in front of you with a big doggie grin on his face. JT has a wonderful amount of energy for long walks or even short hikes, but he is not hyper in the least and knows how to settle down and chill when its quiet time inside the home. JT has great indoor manners and is an easy keeper. He loves treats and obeys direction well. JT is has a very even keeled temperament and knows how to go with the flow. He is easily adaptable to new environments and appears to be quite intelligent. JT sits on command and comes when he is called. He is great with other dogs but he is also fine as an only dog. JT is secure and eager to please his people. He is excellent and very patient with children and would make an outstanding all around family pet. JT rides quietly in the car and has consistent, friendly manners in public. He was rescued from a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where he was brought in stray. JT is a great dog and deserving of a permanent loving family. JT is ready for his new forever home today!

JT’s adoption donation is $425 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

JT is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Lynda, Eric and Lisa and is ready for his forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JT, a Newport Beach Poodle (Miniature)/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature)/Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature)/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature)/Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature)/Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
