NEO's Story...
~ ADOPTION PENDING ~

You may meet and apply to adopt Neo at our ADOPTION EVENT on SUNDAY, DECEMBER 11th from 12 Noon – 3:00 at PETCO in NEWPORT BEACH. (Our event is held INSIDE of the PETCO store.) adoptpetmatch@gmail.com

Neo is a male Pug/Chihuahua mix approximately 3 years in age. He has a soft, short red coat with handsome white markings on his face, legs and tail. He is a nice sturdy size, weighing 14 pounds full grown. Neo is an absolute sweetheart in every way. He is such a gentle, warm, and loving dog. One adoring look from his puppy dog eyes and you will be hooked. Neo has a heart of gold and is the most affectionate, charming boy. He is a very easy keeper, super quiet and well behaved. You won't even know he is there most of the time because he works hard to blend himself into the household. If you want Neo to hang out and be mellow in a doggie bed while you do other things, that is exactly what he will do. If you want to go for a walk, Neo will step out calmly on leash and go for a nice stroll. He has excellent behavior in public and you can count on him to act appropriately. If you want to play with soft stuffy toys, Neo is your best friend and will happily toss a toy in the air to try and please you. He can be cutely puppyish and playful when given a new toy or when you toss a ball. Neo is excellent with children and wonderful with other dogs. He is social and greets new canine pals with a friendly easy going wag of the tail. He is a fantastic, all around pet and companion for a family who wants a dog that is flexible and easy to care for. Neo was rescued from a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where he was brought in stray. He has been vet checked, is very healthy, and is going to make a great pet. Neo is ready for his new forever loving home today!

Neo’s adoption donation is $425 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

NEO is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Lynda, Eric and Lisa and is ready for his forever home.

You may meet and apply to adopt Neo at our ADOPTION EVENT on SUNDAY, DECEMBER 11th from 12 Noon – 3:00 at PETCO in NEWPORT BEACH located at 1280 Bison Ave., Newport Beach, CA 92660. adoptpetmatch@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

NEO, a Newport Beach Pug/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Chihuahua for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Pug/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Chihuahua breeders who help with Pug/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
