My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gracie and Ginger were pulled from a high-kill shelter just as one of the girls was on the table to be euthanized. They were so frightened they drooled and huddle in corners for weeks after they were rescued. We weren't sure how long it would take them to warm up to humans or even other dogs. They never growled or showed any agression, just fear. Slowly, over the course of several months, they warmed up to their foster family and not only did well with other dogs but many times led the pack in playtime, They may be siblings or mother and daughter. Our intention was to adopt them out together but we now feel they would do better separated. Gracie tends to be a bit more outgoing than Ginger. Gracie is 29lbs and around 2 yrs old, Ginger is 34lbs and 2-3 yrs old. We believe they are corgi or basset/plott hound mix, they have very short legs. They have done well with potty training but patience is needed with their new family as they adjust to different schedules and environment. They are spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative and microchipped. The adoption fee is $150. Please email for an application or more information. souldogrr@gmail.com.
